Aston's House

Aston's House sleeps up to 3 guests. It has one bedroom with a 160×200 double bed and a 90×200 single bed (new Epeda mattresses), and it is a single-storey house with no stairs.

Bed and bath linen are not provided. You can bring your own or rent it on site as an option, selected when you book.

Check-in is self-service from 4:00 pm via a smart lock, and check-out is before 10:00 am. The exact address and entry code are sent to you on arrival day, around 2:00 pm. An earlier check-in is possible on request, if the cleaning team has finished in time.

Yes. You can park on the free little square right in front of Aston's House, plus a second one 100 metres away. (Unlike Rory's House, it has no private driveway.)

Arnérault beach and the harbour of La Flotte are 500 metres away, in the heart of the village ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Shops, bakeries, restaurants and the market are a few minutes' walk away.

Pets are not allowed and the property is non-smoking.

The kitchen is fully equipped (hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso and filter coffee makers, kettle, toaster). The house has high-speed Starlink WiFi (a powerful, stable connection with no drop-outs), a smart TV, a washing machine, and a private enclosed garden with no overlooking neighbours, sunny and quiet, with a terrace and garden furniture. There is no air conditioning, but fans are provided.

You reach the island by bridge from La Rochelle. La Rochelle train station is about 20 minutes away by car (~20 km) and La Rochelle–Île de Ré airport about 20 minutes (~15 km). In the heart of La Flotte, shops, the bakery, restaurants, the market and the pharmacy are a few minutes' walk away, and Arnérault beach and the harbour are 500 m away. The large sandy beaches to the west (Le Bois-Plage, Les Gollandières) are 7 to 10 minutes away by car or bike along the cycle paths.

Yes, a cot and a high chair are available free of charge, simply request them when booking.

The stay is paid in full at booking. Tourist tax and cleaning fees are included and shown in the summary. A €200 deposit is taken as a card hold (an authorisation only, with no actual charge) and released 48 hours after you leave.

Cancellation is free with a full refund up to 14 days before arrival. Between 14 and 7 days, 50% of the stay is refunded; less than 7 days before, there is no refund. All requests must be made in writing.
