    To cook at home, nothing beats the medieval market of La Flotte, under its stone halls, open every morning in season (7am–1pm). Oysters, Ré salt, PDO potatoes, goat cheeses and island honey await you — 4 minutes away by bike. For groceries, Carrefour City (3 rue Gustave Dechézeaux) and Intermarché (rue des Caillotières) are very close.

    Yes, absolutely for evenings and weekends in July and August. The best tables are fully booked several days ahead: reserve as soon as you arrive.
